Redesigning Samsung's global One UI developer platform to feel clearer, more credible, and easier to build with.

Redesigning the global One UI developer platform for one of the world's most recognised technology brands.

Samsung
Challenge

A global developer platform that needed to reflect the sophistication of the ecosystem behind it.

Samsung's One UI developer site needed to work for a technically demanding global audience — developers building apps and experiences for one of the world's most widely used mobile operating systems. The existing experience wasn't reflecting the sophistication of the platform or the scale of the ecosystem behind it. Navigation was inconsistent, the visual system felt dated, and the interface wasn't earning the trust a developer needs before committing to a platform.

Approach
  • Rebuilt the information architecture around how developers actually move through documentation, tools, and resources — reducing unnecessary steps and surfacing what matters faster.
  • Developed a cleaner, more systematic visual language that felt aligned with Samsung's broader premium positioning without sacrificing the utility and density developers expect.
  • Treated credibility as a design goal — every layout decision, typographic choice, and interaction pattern was made to signal that this platform is serious, maintained, and worth building on.
Outcome

The redesigned One UI developer experience went live globally — serving developers across markets worldwide. The work elevated the platform's perception while making it genuinely easier to navigate, find resources, and understand the ecosystem.

If what you're building matters, the interface should reflect it.
